Went to this Khalil Fong concert with auntie yesterday night. I never was very much a fan, and knew just a handful of songs (just 1 hand). Went to watch The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) by the Reduced Shakespeare Company -- that's a whopping 37 plays (canonized) in 97 minutes! Whoa what could I say.. it was awesomeness.. the trio truly did manage to capture the essence of his works and make it into something amazingly current, and funny. Was pretty darn good! In an aside, for some reason Leslie Tan (i think) of the T'ang quartet (i think!) was one of the cellos for the first half. Rather surprising, and also surreal, to see an Asian face in there.

The 2 of us went to watch Brava, Paganini! on Thursday. There were 4 pieces performed in total, though despite the title, only one was composed by the man himself. As mentioned previously I went to the Nat museum with Auntie to view Greek pieces on loan from the Louvre. Testament to my lack of museum knowledge - I didn't know Singapore had 3 museums! Went to watch A Midsummers' Night Dream by the SRT over at Fort Canning on Sat.
